Kolathunadu Mahotsavam -2019 debuted!

Kuwait City: Kannur Expats Association (KEA) celebrated its 2nd Kolathunadu Mahotsavam \"2019\" with the launch of KEA Star Singer Competition at Nottingham British School, Abbasiya at 3 pm. Following the cultural programs, public meeting was held at 7 pm . The ceremony was inaugurated by HE K. Jeeva Sagar, Ambassador of India, who said that women should be given equal importance and they should flourish in our society and should be supported to use their talents for the benefit of the society.

At the function, Hon. Ambassador distributed prizes to to the five winners of KEa Star Singer competition.
The first place was won by Ruth Ann Joby, second place by Devika Viji Kumar, third place by Navneet Krishnan Anil Kumar, 4th place by Esther and 5th place by Archana Srija Saji.
Ruth Ann, who won the first place at the request of the Ambassador, performed a song in front of the audience.

President Smt Sherine Mathew presided over the meeting. Biju Sopanam, Nisha Sarang, KEA patron Madhu Kumar, Kia office bearers Muhasena, Preman Illuth, Program convener Santosh Kumar, Mehboola City Clinic Manager Syed Amjad , Social activist Manoj Mavelikkara felicitated the greetings. Actors and prominent family serial pair, Biju Sopanam and Nisha Sarang, who were the guests of event, interacted with audience and the musical event by play back singers Ann amie and Prashob Ramachandran were a great experience!

Gen Secretary Ajit Kumar welcomed the gathering and Treasurer Pushparajan delivered the vote of thanks.
